Wall hanging / Quilt for Auction
A beautiful African-Grandmother Quilt is being offered for blind auction over the course of the Art from the Attic Sale. A huge thank-you to the Red Red Bobbin in Mount Pleasant for their generous donation of both the quilt and the African fabric used to make the quilt. Come and make your bid at the Cottage at Glenhyrst On June 21st, 22nd or 23rd.
All funds from the sale of the quilt will go to support projects in our 15 sub-Saharan African countries, projects that are revitalizing AIDS ravaged communities and building security for our African sisters and hopeful futures for their grandchildren.
Find Jim and Louise at the Red Red Bobbin at 495 Mt. Pleasant Road and marvel at their amazing collection of fabrics and quilting supplies.
