Weeks & Themes 2026

Week 1: June 29 - July 3 |  Camp Juniper: Back to Camp!

*4 Day Week (no camp Wednesday July 1st)

We’re kicking off summer with all the cozy, nostalgic vibes of the classic camp experience. Camp Juniper brings together the best of classic camp days; art-making both indoors and in the shade, nature-inspired creativity, fresh air, friendship, and joyful outdoor fun that feels just like summer should. Campers will explore traditional summer camp crafts like friendship bracelets, tie-dye, nature collages, and pennant flags alongside group art games and creative challenges. It’s the perfect week for building friendships, sparking creativity, and soaking up that timeless summer camp feeling.

Week 2: July 6 - 10 |  Life on the Farm

Get ready to dig in for a week of farm-themed art and hands-on fun! Campers will explore creativity and imagination through playful, down-to-earth activities inspired by life on the farm. From favourite barnyard animals to wide-open fields and harvest time, campers will bring the countryside to life through art, games, and collaborative play. Throughout the week, campers will create barnyard landscapes, sculpt clay farm animals, design produce-inspired artworks, and experiment with texture through bold sunflower paintings. With plenty of room to create, play, and make new friends, it’s good old country fun—Glenhyrst style!

Week 3: July 13 - 17 |  Little Artist, Big World

Travel the world through art and imagination! Grab your passport and get ready for a creative adventure as campers explore exciting places and bring the colours and stories of the world to life. Kids will discover different cultures while creating hands-on projects like patterned textiles, architectural drawings, map-based art, masks, and mixed-media souvenirs. Along the way, campers will try new materials, learn fun techniques, and see how art connects us to places around the globe. It’s a week full of creativity, curiosity, and worldwide fun!

Week 4: July 20 - 24 |  Art Pop Lab

Get ready for a week of messy, magical, and totally awesome crafts inspired by Pinterest and the internet’s most viral ideas! Test, try, and create the coolest crafts from online trends. We’ll try out popular, process-based crafts like squeegee painting, bubble art, tape resist designs, DIY squishies, air-dry clay creations, and colourful mixed-media projects inspired by social media trends. Campers will experiment, customize their work, and enjoy the fun of making eye-catching art that feels fresh, creative, and exciting.

Week 5: July 27 - 31 |  Tropical Staycation

Bring the tropics to camp! Sand, sun, colourful crafts, and creative island-inspired fun make this week a summer dream. Campers will explore bright materials and playful techniques while creating art that feels like a mini getaway—no suitcase required. We’ll make projects like tropical landscape paintings, textured ocean art, seashell and sand creations, palm tree prints, and mixed-media vacation postcards. Make beachy crafts, play sunny games, and enjoy a tropical staycation full of fun, friends, and creativity!

Week 6: August 4 - 7 Claynation

Get ready for a week of squishy, squelchy, hands-on fun! Kids will explore the magical world of clay, shaping, molding, and decorating their own creations. From pinch pots to playful sculptures, each day is full of imagination, creativity, and messy, memorable fun. By the end of the week, campers will take home a collection of one-of-a-kind clay masterpieces!

Week 7: August 10 - 14 |  Colour House

Get ready for a week full of colour, creativity, and friendly competition! Campers will be sorted into colour houses and work together to earn points through games, challenges, and team activities. Create bright and fun crafts, explore your imagination, and watch your house rise to the top. Campers will explore colour through bold art projects like colour-mixing paintings, rainbow prints and textured monochromatic designs. It’s a rainbow of fun, friendship, and art waiting to be made!

Week 8: August 17 - 21 |  The Toy Factory

Step into the Toymakers’ Workshop and bring your ideas to life! This week combines imagination, problem-solving, and artistry, giving campers the joy of making something both creative and playable. Campers will craft fun, functional toys like spinning tops, ball-and-cup games, and tic-tac-toe boards using a mix of recycled and craft materials. Build, decorate, and play with your creations while exploring how toys are made. It’s a week full of hands-on fun, creativity, and toys you can take home to enjoy again and again!

Week 9: August 24 - 28 |  Spooky Studio

Get ready for a spooktacular week of Halloween fun and creativity! Campers will dive into a world of silly monsters, colourful masks, and spooky decorations as they celebrate the magic of the season—no need to wait for October! Each day is packed with playful games, hands-on art projects, and plenty of opportunities to create with friends. From crafting quirky creatures to designing festive decorations, this week is full of laughter, creativity, and colourful spooky fun that everyone will enjoy.
