Exhibition Description

This children’s exhibition features artwork from Glenhyrst’s collection that represents animals in a variety of ways. Using engaging artwork and interactive displays, the exhibition includes artists such as Norval Morrisseau, Alexandra Haeseker, Robert R. Whale, Alexandra Luke, and Blake Debassige. Their work asks us to reconsider our complex relationships with animals and their place in the natural environment. To better facilitate these connections with younger audiences and to improve their viewing experience, the artwork in this exhibition has been installed low on the wall. “Toadally Possum” helps us to animate the gallery’s collection so that we can better facilitate access and education to audiences of all ages.
